I was trying to merge my steam account with the vrchat and it succeeded. I followed the steps to wait a day and logged back in and went back to the FISH! world, but nothing shows but me as a fresh new account. What could’ve happened there? Will I lose my past progress forever and start over again?
If you guys have any idea, please tell me. (I’m fine if the data loss is permanent, though.)
Currently experiencing this issue. Sent a message to support to see if it can be retrieved at all.
Update: support got back to me and fixed it so now I have all my stuff again! Worth contacting support about it, make sure you tell them the exact date you merged your account and possibly the temporary steam name you had prior.
