Hi!

From my whole understanding of the forum you were in a friends private lobby, correct?

Did the person you blocked happen to be the instance owner?

From what I know, (and this may not be correct.) a person of moderation may see who within an instance has them blocked. Could be group public or privately owned instances!

Did they kick you from the group right after or around? Or is it likely they had asked a friend nearby if they had been speaking to anyone as they could not see (you).

If that makes sense, apologies!!

Hello!

To summarize the situation as follows:

I’m sorry, didn’t you say you weren’t going to reply with any further posts regarding this forum? If you truly meant that, you wouldn’t be replying to mine. Not trying to be rude or anything, just seems you say something then backtrack when more things come out.

I see, so likely the debug menu being buggy, what world were you in if you can remember? It may have something to do with the coding in there? Either way, yikes… hope that doesn’t happen again, and sorry you had to endure that while playing!

Thank you for your understanding. It is not precisely clear whether the world or instances are involved as conditions, but if my verification is correct, it seems to occur anywhere. The VRChat administrators also consider it a bug, but perhaps it has not been fixed due to its low priority.Reddit - Dive into anything

No changes have been made to the Blocked UI and if it’s behaving differently, that’s a bug.

If you block someone, you can see them in the menu. That’s how you can go to unblock them, if you want.

If they block you, you can’t see it. This isn’t true if you’re an instance moderator – in that case, you’ll see their name listed in the Here tab under Blocked By. You can click on them to perform moderator actions.

This is done so that people can’t block mods to avoid being moderated.
