Issue with Head Chop (unorthodox avatar)

I am having an issue with an avatar I am working on where the Head Chopper doesn’t appear to be working and having the avatars mesh clip into FOV of the user.

My only guess is I am ether using this wrong or the avatar using no traditional bones names is causing issues. (The avatar is composed of a “core” and a “shell” that is divided into eight segments.) Though unsure if the bones are setup right since I imported this directly from blender.

Though they do appear to transform their connected meshes properly.

Should note I am an novice to this so I could also just be looking over a key step somewhere despite reading the docs.

Edit: An Additional detail I forgot to mention is each section of the “shell” is intended to eventually be rotated and transformed as part of animations so process faces inside the model.

Unfortunately I believe Head Chop only works with Humanoid rigged avatars. It sounds like your avatar might be rigged as Generic?

It sadly is indeed is, its the prism shown in my avatar. Curious though if there is an alternative way then to accomplish the same effect.

isnt there a head chop component? unless it doesnt work for those types.
