My updates are suddenly prompting me to update to win 11 25h2. Which i thought was optional. Im on win11 24h2. (Started with it when i built my comp) Things are stable atm. Ive paused the update for now.
I have a asrock pro motherboard, 2 amd radeon graphics cards and an intel i 9 core. Plus 1 gig high speed internet for smooth lagless play.
Im currently testing a personal avatar of mine that’s still unfinished and i am worried the update could cause issues. Ive heard so mant scary things about it from audio to connectivity issues so i wanted to ask if its safe to update?
An update on the OS level shouldn’t impact your avatar more than any other software or your PC.
Updating your OS is always a good thing to resolve security vulnerabilities, but you can maybe wait a week or two see if people mention online instabilities after installing it.
But i believe that this update was posted around the end of 2025, you are most likely safe, so please update your pc yes
Ive heard about audio loss issues , wifi connectivity issues including for headset (not sure about tethered ones as i use tether for pcvr) and massive 80 fps loss with people using amd radeon graphics cards which i have.
Have 2 AMD Radeon RX 6750 XT Challenger Pro.
And a asrock B760M Pro RS motherboard.
Bios and gpu hasnt been updated as everything runs fine. Id like to keep it stable.
