How to fix the "Clearing Blueprint ID" VRChat avatar upload unity error

In this video you will learn how to fix the “Attempted to load the data for an avatar we do not own, clearing Blueprint ID” VRChat avatar upload unity error.

So something that worked for me with no Blueprint ID in the Pipeline Manager
Was installing VrcFury.

If you click “tools” and do not see VrcFury, BUT your avatar shows GogoLoco (VRCFury)
In the part selector.. then your avatar needs VRCFury to continue the upload.
Same deal if you use Poiyomi shaders and don’t have them installed.

In the VCC, go to Settings > Packages > Add Repository,
Add what you need one at a time.
Remember to enable them after install!

Poiyomi pro (use if you paid for Poiyomi)
Add https://poiyomi.github.io/vpm/index.json

Poiyomi free (use if your avatar needs Poiyomi and you did not pay)
https://vrchat-community.github.io/template-package-listing/index.json

VrcFury
https://vcc.vrcfury.com

Anything else?

Here I considered listing every possible repository before realizing the golden answer is
"Add the repository needed for your avatar"

Once everything is installed and enabled open unity check if you have some kind of interface.

For now I’ll assume you added VrcFury & Poiyomi
See if you now have a VrcFury option in tools.
Click the GogoLoco and see if it now has a VrcFury panel in Avatar Descriptor
Scroll down and see if there is now a Blueprint ID in the Pipeline Manager.

Try to upload! \(^-^)/

The premise of the video by @Fuuujin and solutions proposed in this topic are silly. “Attempted to load the data for an avatar we do not own, clearing blueprint ID” is never the cause of the error, but a corrective step taken by the SDK when an avatar failed to upload to the assigned avatar ID (blueprint ID) or when it was never uploaded (local SDK test avatar).

To find the error causing avatar build to fail, see the preceding logged warnings/errors in the Unity console for more details and any validations error in the SDK builder.

For example, it may be a missing script component on the avatar on any of the gameobjects. Install those missing scripts by using VRChat Creator Companion or ALCOM, or by importing the unitypackage.

You can also try logging out from the SDK and relogging back in to fetch a new session, if the previous cached session token being invalidated for some reason is the cause of the issues.

I don’t know how many people you actually helped with the advice, but the video helped a lot of people, so it does not matter how silly my propositions are or are not
