I was just wondering on how to submit a poster for the VRC NYE 2025 event, is there going to be a form like last year?
A whitelist attached to a world? Sounds interesting. Limit of 10 keeps things readable, probably not enough to use random services, but would definitely be enough for a service architected around this concept

I get the feeling people are going to use these maliciously. Not like paranoia i think it’s going to be a pervasive problem, but i have to wonder. Like i’d hope people would use them exclusively for sharing memories, but you could also frame defamatory “evidence” with them.
Again, not to be a downer, but we need to be very careful as this opens a large avenue for people to scam, or deceptively advertise the purchase. I’d hope these will be regulated and moderated strictly, and refunds are handled well if this occurs.

In other news, i’m curious as to if Udon2 is being figured out. With the layoffs and some other things, i know it got slowed down a lot, or perhaps needs to be re-evaluated in order to resume progress on it… Is that being looked into?
Also the mention of the world store being in the menu, reminds me of the old roadmaps that included having a dedicated tab or side panel that world creators could put functionalities into, is that put into the “maybe” pile too, is it waiting on udon 2? (this is why i brought up udon 2)
I know a lot of people are sitting around hoping and praying (myself included) for udon 2 to come out in order to be drastically loosened from the shackles of performance overhead.
this is a pretty frequent feedback I think “VRC+ Light” subscription plan would be a neat option at 60% of the regular price (or even 50% if the VRChat Team feels generous). It would offer the same features but scaled down - half the memory, fewer stickers, emotes, etc. This would make it more accessible for new users, particularly in developing countries, who begin their VR journey mostly on entry-level vr headsets like Meta or Pico. I don’t know

I personally dislike quite a lot subscriptions unless its from a very big game from a very big and known corp that can handle all the trust and securities it provide.
What VRC should do is, apart from their sub, if they really want people to use some money, put an addon/dlc on steam with a low tag price, like a vrc half plus dlc that gives you the posibility to use stickers, create groups and post photos in them, something… That actually helps the community health and growth. paywalling things with a sub that actually help the community is definitely not a good thought.
Is the mipmap streaming in beta or live right now?
