So I’m new for vrchat, but would love to create world on my free time, but when I press build and test, it pops notification that I’m new so I cannot upload, I’m fine with that
“When you get the ability to upload, we will notify you via email and in VRChat. For now, you can learn and test on your own device.”
But when I try to “Build & Test Your Word”, it throws a error “Current User does not have permission to build and upload worlds”.
There seems to be bug in SDK3.0 and it checks if I can upload even when I’m not uploading, only testing locally.
Yeah it’s not something that many people are likely to notice. You should file a bug report, but it’s likely that you’ll get the rank up before they fix it.
I have the same problem to test my own avatar that I created all by myself. I just learned later that I need the “new user” rank to gain permission access. And fot that, being an active user. I just want to chill in the game alone with my custom made avatar. So it’s difficult to gain rank up if I don’t interact much with people… My english is not good enough vocally and there not much french people to talk to. Maybe if I just connect each day doing my stuff it will happen but no idea if it will work.
