Hi, i’m still fairly new with avatar making and this has me at my wits end. I’m really not good with the technical talk yet so please bear with me.
I imported an FBX model with a premade rig. I had set it to humanoid and configured the avatar’s hierarchy so that it would work and all be green. When going to upload it I receive one or more of these messages:
“This avatar is not humanoid”
“You must rig the head, hands and feet”
“This avatar is humanoid but this area is not identified in the rig”
I figured out that the “this avatar is non-human” thing is a bug that can be easily fixed by just changing the rig type and changing it back. But the other two I have no idea. Especially when the rig does have those spots identified at default.
Regardless, whenever I apply changes and fix the non-humanoid thing, it always resets the hierarchy in the configuration. Which is extremely frustrating because the rig has a bunch of physbones for the hair and a bag as well as all of the labels being in Japanese, which I don’t understand and don’t want to relabel them over and over again.
How do I make it so that the configuration actually saves and still be humanoid? I would share the file so someone can identify the issue but the creator of the model specified in their terms of use that I’m not allowed to publicly share the file contents.
