Avatar becomes a gigantic malnourished skeleton when in play mode

In the scene when not in play mode it’s perfectly fine. This is what it should look like:

But once I use Gesture Manager to test the avatar, it becomes this:

I find out that it’s the (Avatar) component in the animator that screws it up like this. This Avatar was used in a previous similar fbx, except this updated one was edited in blender to have more blendshapes and more material slots. I found out that the updated fbx doesn’t have the Avatar component so I figured I should add it back, but I have no idea how, I’m a complete noob in blender. Any advice, please?

If I remember correctly that usually happens when you are trying to control blendshapes that no longer appear on the avatar for example through animations. It could also be if your avatar controller is set to the old avatar.

Please try this out and report back, I’m sure we can figure it out as i have had this issue before.
