Hello this is me being honest with a topic here age verification should be free for every adult I shouldn’t have to pay for something that is free for every platform I don’t care that it costs money for them to do it personally can shove it and the vrc devs taking advantage of this fueling their greed milking people for money especially the furry community on vrc there’s a lot of people furry or not that agree the paying for age verification is stupid I shouldn’t have to pay for vrc plus to age verify even if I need to pay one time I’m not doing that I refuse to give into the greed its not like we now have paid for avatars now and you need vrc plus to do anything like change your profile picture as well as use a damn drone it wouldn’t kill them to make age verification free its not like the devs get a lot of money from the game anyways theirs a lot of people that would agree with me
I think you forget that vrc has people hired full time, this cost money and so does the licensing they have and servers cost aswell. this quickly adds up fast, i would not be surprised if vrc has monthly expenses in the range of 500k to 1mil) a month.
and with age verification that is gonna cost them aswell, so i dont see the problem in having features locked behind vrc+ its what ensure content in the future.

besides its not like not having vrchat + is a big deal, they did a great job with being a free user if you so choose

vrc needs money to keep developing stuff
and the only income they have is vrc plus (and now the market stuff ofc)
its already a free game so unless you want ads everytime you load into a world and adds plastered everywhere then currently i’d say vrc is doing it perfectly fine with their current system.
all the features that are locked behind vrc+ is all gimmicks and dont change the feeling of the overall gameplay.
