There’s already a toggle for nameplates in the Action Menu (and Quick Menu), with corresponding settings like Opacity, Group Banners, Show Additional Info, Size and even Status.
What if we could have the same for our HUD elements?
We could have all those settings like HUD opacity, Mic Opacity, Show Gesture Icons and HUD Detail Level all in the Action Menu just like we have for nameplates. I find not having it in there or even in the smaller Quick Menu, inconsistent.
I toggle HUD and nameplates off and on quite frequently. The only options for the HUD is in the Quick Menu and the bigger menu, it makes it quite difficult to easily change these settings. Even then, you don’t get to tweak the small options there, you have to go to the bigger menu for those options (unlike nameplate settings).
I feel like this would be a GREAT quality of life feature as it keeps the UI consistent and more in line with the other settings. More personally, I frequently swap between gaming (dark environments have a bigger contrast to HUD elements) and just straight up chilling with my friends, so having this option would make it much easier to have less visual clutter so I can focus on my friends more instead of glancing at my mic icon or looking at my face mirror all the time.
