i've raised the issue with Tupper, and was given a blanket answer.
same answer i have gotten from the other "user support" trolls on the discord.
you can’t convert your monthly to a yearly and take advantage of the offer.
you would have to cancel your subscribtion, wait for it to expire, then get a yearly subscribtion and hope the dates lines-up.
seems to me they dropped the ball on this one, or they don’t care about people in this situation (monthly subs), or whatever.
not gonna cry wolf but i’m gonna say things as they are from our perspective. i would have hoped they will see the issue and offer a solution in their own dashboard so everyone can take advantage of said deal, this is what most legit businesses do. (some have been even nicer and offered custom solutions that is “out of normal procedure” so to make sure the user who were gonna miss out, would NOT miss out on the deal.)
here’s the discord chats, make of it what you want. my takeaway from it is, you shouldn’t let community address issues with paying customer, the answers were not really professionnal even if they were true. note: they are not employees of vrchat.
