2 things to comment on.
Are we going to see an increase at some point for stickers/emojis in the future besides just a world limit increase? At the moment we have a limit of 18 stickers we can upload, yet vrchat with the item drops I have collected over 30 stickers that I don’t use and would rather trade those for more custom/upload slots.
Are groups going to get more moderation features/control in the future? At the moment group owners/moderators have no way of handling reports. Any report made goes straight to the moderation team while some of those reports would be better off going to the group owner/moderators for immediate action then waiting on vrchat staff.

One of the best things I ever did was stumble upon the Portal Library System for VRChat worlds. Yes I had to hold a translator up to all the slots until I memorized what everything did, but it was so worth it to have a tool where I can finally dump every recommendation I have in categories that make sense to me. Does that mean having it in a home world that you have to upload? Sure. I’m not sure that’s a bad thing though.
I won’t claim it’s a perfect solution to not having enough slots for favorites. But it’s better than making visitor accounts with favorites set to public or friends only just to have more worlds in favorites.

This is one of the big motivations for “private avatar sharing” and similar feature requests on Canny.
Some 18+ groups don’t run 18+ Verified instances, and instead attempt to verify age at the entrance, because some adults don’t have admissible ID (this is VRChat after all, we’ve got a lot of disabled people), can’t afford VRC+ for whatever reason, are using a secondary account (such as a moderation or music bot), or don’t trust online companies with their sensitive personally-identifiable information.
I think there are things that can be done for this, maybe:
- Having a one-time payment, even giftable, to unlock age verification. (VRC+ would grant you this “ticket” if you don’t already have it.)
- A dedicated “bot account” mechanism that links bots to their owners and identifies them as bots (i.e. as a displayed trust rank).
I don’t think the other problems with age verification are solvable by VRChat though.

The straight facts: our Trust & Safety team is currently clearing appeal tickets within 48 to 72 hours. We are not behind.
How about abuse report tickets? I still have open tickets from 3 weeks ago that didnt even get the generic ‘started a review’ response.

I just have two questions that I’ve not been able to confirm by reading this and the TOS.
Is it true that a user of a private avatar used in public (where people have not consented) which has NSFW content in its files but is not being activated or displayed cannot get banned for this reason?
And the same case as above (private avatar in public) but where the avatar for example has nude parts but they can only be seen by clipping through with your camera/eyes under for example clothes, can such a user get banned for it?
Also why is there not a category of age when reporting people in VRC? Seems like a small but important and obvious feature.
Worried about those two new features coming to VRC+ though. I guess I should get used to it… orz

“If your avatar has “NSFW” textures, geometry, or features on it, never set it to Public. Always set it to Private, and never use it in public spaces.”
That last part confirms that you can get banned for these things… but only by being reported, it’s not a direct violation of TOS as I understand it. And that’s understandable but also new to me and a bit concerning, maybe I use a public avatar not knowing it has such things and then I get banned for it… As long as it’s not permanent for life right away in such a case it’s ok I guess. orz

No offense Tupper, but I feel like you got to say that more BEFORE the team fired the head coder of what Soba was initially going to be, stripped most of the features and performance y’all promised from it, had the reveal that y’all already Had a build of udon that did most of what Soba is even supposed to do (as far as we publically know), and have had both Udon 2/Soba on the back burner for multiple years, while monitization is getting pumped out left and right as of late.
The answer of “When it’s done” is correct, but needs to be phrased a lot more kindly considering the circumstances surrounding it lol.

I’m so confused by this. Not only how it’s possible to favorite so many worlds but also what do you mean by dead to you?
If you are not happy with standalone you should just use a PC…

Like they described in this post, if the instance is public, you will get banned. For both, even if they aren’t shown or used.

For Private avatars, it is your responsibility to not use sexually explicit features in public instances or in spaces where you cannot validate the consent of everyone present.
It says use, it’s not clear if that means the avatar containing it, the ability to see it in any sense in VRC or if it’s just activating it. Nor do I know if feature means hidden texture for example. Just wanna make sure so I don’t spread misinformation or operate under false belief on accident.

my favorites are almost an archeological record of cool worlds going back years now, and it’ll be nice to be able to start adding more again, it’s always fun when a friend joins and i get to take them on a trip through memory lane and show off some really cool stuff that’s not been touched in so long, and catch updates to worlds when they do get them in updated favorites :3
