# What is the microphone settings "Microphone Output Volume" in Android VRChat?

When I play the game I literally can’t talk because my family always talking around and stuff (I just got the game recently in my android btw) so I want to ask what is Microphone Output Volume? Is this to change at what volume can other people hear you or something? Cuz I set it at 0 but if my finger slipped and accidentally clicked the microphone volume would people still be able to hear me? I don’t want anyone to hear my family speaking around sadly :(
