Im on standalone meta quest 3.
For the past day or two ive tried multiple ways to get past this like restarting my headset,deleting vrchat,deleting the cache but the only thing that works is my mobile hotspot which lets me into my home world.
If I sit in the connecting screen for long enough it gives me the like pop up saying “verify your connection and try again”

Please try launching the VRChat client into a different region from the VRChat Home website..
I’ve been experiencing the same, i also cant join anyone usa west or east. only jpn/eu are joinable at this point and can only enter vrc via web browser despite changing my homeworld to be jpn server when i remade my home spawn. (on index)
