# VRChat does not start in desktop mode

Sorry if I am using a translation app and it does not come across accurately.  
Recently when I try to start VRChat in desktop mode, a black screen appears and my computer stops accepting operations.  
In this case, I can only press the power button on the computer to turn it back on, which is very troubling.  
In VR mode it starts up fine and there is no problem playing.  
Below are the specs of my computer.  
CPU:Intel corei5-13500  
GPU: radeon rx9070xt  
memory: 64GB

Hello. Have you tried the verification of file integrity on steam for vrchat, to ensure there is no corruption.

Thank you for your comments, we have checked the files for consistency and reinstalled them.  
We also confirmed that the error did not occur when launching VRChat.exe directly, and that it started normally while offline.
