# Vrchat does not launch in steamvr for dell wmr headset

ever since the August 14, 2024 update, i have been unable to use vrchat in steamvr mode. I try launching it in steamvr from the steamvr menu. It tries to load in, but the only thing that happens is that my vr display flashes blue for a fraction for a second and then the game launching in desktop mode only. i have no idea why it is doing this and ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling vrchat and steamvr multiple times.

Try turning down your resolution in SteamVR. I usually see the solid blue screen in VR when my VRAM is nearly full, and the resolution is too high. I’m also on WMR.

i sometomes dont even get the blue screen. it just launches into desktop regardless of resoloution. other people with wmr dont seem to have this problem though
