View Position not moving along the Z-Axis for Generic avatar

So I’m making an avatar for myself and I managed to get it ingame (minus it having animations, a problem I’ve yet to overcome) but the view is still stuck inside the head no matter how far I move the View Positon from the head along the Z-Axis (even really far from the head). My rig is set to Generic because I have to keep my avatar set to the Generic rig since Humanoid screws up the whole rig. Is there some way to have the View Position corrected for the Generic rig?
