Tweaking finger axis of Avatar

I’ve been scratching my head about this since I started working on my custom VRChat avatar, but, I can’t seem to find the answer.

I’ve changed/tuned in the axis of the fingers in Blender, exported it, imported it, tuned in the axis of the fingers in the Unity avatar (again) and yet when uploaded to vrchat, the fingers axis change. They’re not… really bad or anything but I’m puzzled why they don’t follow the axis I set for them on multiple levels.

The angles/axes of things like finger bends are determined by the T-Pose of your avatar, which is set in the Unity Rigging Configuration screen during Import. Click on the Rig tab of your avatar (the place where you set it as Humanoid) and click “Customize”.

This is where you’d adjust angles and etc.
