For some strange reason, when I launch VRChat in desktop mode, the pointer doesn’t seem to lock into the center of the screen, even when im not in a menu. I tried restarting the game, but the problem stays. It is annoying because when I try to click or interact on something, the place where it considers im pointing keeps randomly moving and I often click outside of the VRChat window.

Here’s a video of my issue: [https://youtu.be/7g32f3PmHNo](https://youtu.be/7g32f3PmHNo)

I didn’t watch the video, but I’ve had this problem wherever I run another game at the same time as VRChat. The work around I’ve come up with is to open up the menu, move mouse back into the window and then close the menu. So my escape button is getting a lot of work opening and closing.

VRChat and astroneer both use unity and both have the same problem.

The mouse is not being captured, might be the term to look for. The mouse should be continually moved to the center of the screen/window while you look around

Oh wait, I’ve been holding tab and then moving mouse back into VRChat window

Personally I simply tap the TAB key to recenter my mouse, but its really annoying to have to do that every second.

I’d see what else you have open, when I don’t have other unity programs open it works better

Yeah, I eventually found out it was my DesktopMate app that was the problem. I switched it to another app and its fixed.
