# Sdk not appearing as a tab or anything from creator companion (i honestly don't know how to word this)

ive done nothing from what ive done normally and it just started last night. i looked at other ppl who had similar issues but none of the things they said to try didnt worked. i’ve updated unity and cc to the latest! (i use 2202.3.22f1! and i have a windows pc its windows11. ive turned off my firewall and dont have a adblocker.)

134 errors? Start at the top I guess.
The VRChat SDK runs inside the editor, so any script can break the SDK
Actually first thing I’d check for is a Assets/VRCSDK folder. VRCxxx it’s been awhile. But with that many errors I wonder if the avatar you imported has a copy of the VRChat SDK in it.

If it is an extra copy of the SDK gumming up the works, maybe make a new project, and when importing unitypackages, do not accept any changes to Packages, or Assets/VRCSDK you can uncheck the files.
Do check out the first errors first tho

the thing about the avi. is it, does that even when no avatar is imported yet and i do use creator companion
and this is all the way at the top

Ew, last time I had unity mathematics break it was vrlabs avatar pen script.
The script is only needed to install the pen, and yet I see it included with avatars
I think it was a warning about the file for some reason, and then error city.
If it does give out that many errors with just the SDK itself that’s hard to figure. Usually it’s been like SDK + something and then trouble.

Go to window/package manager and update any packages from there… sometimes for some reason the vrcsdk loves to fetch an outdated version of packages breaking itself.
you might have to manually empty the packages/library cache folder with the editor closed and have it rebuild.

so incase one of yall tell me to delete everything from scratch just did it and still no so idk everythings updated i have no files for avis anymore so thats not the issues, im starting to give up. thank you vrc and unity. hopefully one day it gets fixed

I FIXED IT! All it was is that i didnt update unity.collections in package manager!!
