Possible to set a facial animation to temporarily disable the blink? [Solved]

So while setting up my facial animations I found out how to disable the eye tracking for my open palm eye closed, but I cannot seem to figure out how to restore it once the gesture is released. I tried adding a new state with another animator tracking control set to track for the eyes when the specific hand gesture is not active but it doesn’t appear to do anything.

I was able to figure out how to get this to work by applying an animator tracking control to every other hand movement and setting them to eyes/eyelid tracking.
