# Platform Error!

This is not the only bug I encounter, but it is the worst one at the moment. After entering vrchat (via Steam or the website), 1-2 minutes pass and I cannot change avatars or worlds, an error occurs due to which I have to re-enter vrchat.

I play from a computer, without vr. I tried everything I could, but nothing helps, absolutely nothing, I don’t know what else I can do, this has been going on for several weeks now

Can you map out the exact steps you take to make this happen? Like this:

1. Start up VRChat
2. Open Menu
3. Select world X
4. Click New Instance

etc etc…

It’d also be very useful to see [your output logs](https://help.vrchat.com/hc/en-us/articles/9521522810899-Where-do-I-find-my-output-logs)!

Are you on the Open Beta? If so, swap back to Live and see if it happens.

If you’re not on any Beta, try logging out and back in, your login may have expired partially and isn’t kicking you back to login for some reason.

tried clearing cache; change vrchat settings; reinstall the game; re-login to vrchat in different ways, change the launch mode non-vr/vr and much more.

All drivers are updated; no problems with performance either

Did you fix this issue? I have same issue for a bit now. I too cannot change worlds or avatars after couple of minutes. Same with avatar uploading. Missing Credentials. Seems like vrchat shadow banning or disconnects me for something.

have you fixed this issue? ive been dealing with the same thing for half a year and have gotten ZERO help.
