Ownership status within object hierarchy

I’m trying to understand more about how Network Ownership works. Couple questions:

  1. When an object’s network owner changes (as in on pickup), does the ownership change for all of that object’s children, as well?

  2. What about if a script changes an object’s parent to an object that has a different Network Owner? Does Ownership of that child change at that point?

  1. It only changes for that specific Udon Behaviour. So you need to take ownership over any child objects in your code/graph

  2. Each behaviour handles it’s own ownership. You need to specifically take ownership over any behaviour you want a new owner on. So changing parent does nothing to the ownership.
