My Trust Status is: User. It has been since I subscribed a week ago, but I still am not allowed to upload in Unity. Any hints on how to get allowed soon, I signed up for an online class tomorrow: ‘moving AltSpace worlds to VRChat’

The main things you’re going to need to do to rank up is visit public worlds, try to make some friends and essentially just play the game. Your time in game contributes to your ranking but so does interacting.

My advice would be to hit up YouTube for some guides.

But as User rank, you should be able to upload worlds and avatars to VR Chat. Are you certain that you’re ‘User’ ranked? Is the Unity VR Chat SDK complaining about your rank?

Yes it is the SDK that says I need to wait. I did a screen capture that clearly shows my status as: User

Official doc says you should be able to upload worlds, please show us. I don’t have any experience with world upload but the avatar sdk is very skittish, is there a build and test option? If both test and publish options don’t work it’s not related to permissions…

Do you think any materials will be shared after the course? I have never used altspacevr so I am curious to the difference.

I haven’t seen that screen capture (I 'm guessing you posted it somewhere else?) but I’ll take your word for it.

The only other thing I can think of is maybe you’re logging into the SDK with a different account? Or maybe you have an account using Steam and another the VRChat site?

Just pulling things out of my rear at this point. Maybe just verify you’re using the same credentials in the SDK as you’re using to log into the game?

I finally got help and got it solved, I had to login on my Windows machine and on the left side there was A menu choice account link, then I had to go on my quest headset get on VR chat and choose update from that menu, that gave me a merge token that I could type in back on the windows machine. Immediately I was allowed to upload. The main help I got was the clarification that if you make an account on your standalone headset or on Steam that account will never get to the ability to upload worlds or avatars, you have to do the steps above and merge to an account on www.vrchat.com
