I wanna add some player indicators in my VRC world above their nameplates. In standard Unity, I could attach a world canvas above the player to achieve this effect. How can I do it with a VRC world? I’ll also want it to be dynamic, but that should be easy enough.
Get the players Tracking Data for Head, then use the Y position value to offset your gameObject.
Then you just update the transform position on your object based on the players X and Z root position and the Y head position + offset
Ok, so I should instantiate a gameObject with a world canvas of some sort and rotate/move it in update?
For remote players, you got to instantiate it yes. And if it’s gonna have text, then yes, world canvas with text.
