# Is finger tracking from the vive XR controllers being added?

I was wondering if adding the finger tracking from vives XR controllers is something planned or being worked on at the moment. From what I understand, the data from finger tracking from the triggers on the controller goes to steam vr but vrchat doesn’t use it.
