# Hey someone is trying to upload a avatar to my account and it keeps saying this

so i had asked someone to upload a avatar namely a foxy avatar and it gives my friend this the first image where it says logging in from too many places check your email for verification link

But when i click on the link i get this error where it says the verification failed?

How do i fix this

That’s due to vrchat security policy, that ensure that you aren’t getting hacked.

This is to be extremely safe.

Usually, NEVER SHARE YOUR USERNAME AND PASSWORD.

That being said. In that case, maybe send them the verification link so they open it to confirm the fact that it is valid in their geo location.

Don’t open it yourself, but send it to them.

It did get fixed but i don’t entirely know how it did
