Hello there forums, I want to say, one of my friends has been falsely banned from vrchat for “client use” which isnt true, I was present in a call with this person at the time of it all going down, they went through a portal and was met with the perma ban message for client modification, and over the span of a month he has been trying and attempting to reach out support, sending over all the necessary info for a ban appeal, but only to be told he won’t be unbanned even though proof was provided that he wasn’t using any clients, and it has been one of the most discouraging things to hear him go through, I’ve heard many of people have unfortunately been through this and I wanna see if there is any sort of solution that could be come to
Support doesn’t handle ban appeals, Trust & Safety does. Did your friend appeal through a moderation ticket at https://vrch.at/moderation?
Sorry i misworded, typed when i was tired, but they did go through the moderation ticket, but nothing was looked at from what we talked about, and the tickets were closed, I’m doing as much as I can to help them out since they do miss playing vr and doesn’t wanna violate rules just to play with our friend group on vr
