This time I made a shader that allows some basic color editing of textures without having to use external picture editing software. I had some people ask me how to recolor a texture and if they had to use other software to do it. I realized that it is a hassle for people if they pretty much only know unity.
Here are the settings and what they do. I’ll leave out the regular unity standard stuff and only list whats specific to this shader:
Albedo Hue: Shifts the color spectrum (wont work well if its grayscale)
Albedo Luminosity: Brightens the texture.
Albedo Saturaton: Saturates or desaturates the texture
Albedo Color: Overlays a color over the texture
Invert Albedo: Inverts the textures color values.
Emission Hue: Shifts the color spectrum of the emission texture (wont work well if its grayscale)
Emission Luminosity: Brightens the emission texture.
Emission Saturaton: Saturates or desaturates the emission texture.
Emission Color: Overlays a color over the emission texture.
Invert Emission: Inverts the emission texture color values.
Sync Hue: Locks makes the Emission Hue use the same value as Albedo Hue
Sync Luminosity: Locks makes the Emission Luminosity use the same value as Albedo Luminosity
Sync Saturation: Locks makes the Emission Saturation use the same value as Albedo Saturation
You can find the shader in my prefab/shader package on github
In the shader menu you find it at Tsuna/Color Edit FX
