# Avatar security checks failed

i was able to upload avatars just fine before. and now all quest avatars i upload say security checks failed in game.

IIRC you should contact VRChat support. Give them avatar IDs maybe.

All they give you is the standard boiler plate crap, accusing you of using a ripped avatar, and saying that they “won’t override fail security checks at this time.”

VRChat support is heckin’ useless when it comes to this. I’ve had this same issue happen with one of my customized Manuka avatars. It works fine on PC, but the Quest version has the error. I guarantee this wouldn’t happen in Chillout VR…
