# Avatar becomes an error once uploaded to quest

So, when I upload my avatar’s PC version it works just fine. But when I upload the quest version, it turns both the pc and quest version into and error and doesn’t display as quest compatible in game.

The confusing part is that I don’t recieve any console errors, so I’m completely clueless :(

EDIT: I figured it out, the quest converter I was using was outdated :)

I ran into this awhile back. I had to close the project and reopen it in android mode, and then finally the editor showed the compiler error.

For whatever reason if opened in PC and switch to android didn’t show any errors, but it was obviously uploading an android avatar over the PC version, causing the error robot.

I’m currently having this same issue. How can I update my quest converter? Do I update the SDK?

I don’t fully follow, the problem and solution are described in this thread. So if one of them isn’t true you should tell us about it.
