Since holding down escape while changing avatars no longer works, i am wondering if there is another way to block your own avatar.
What do you mean by “block your own avatar”?
As in, you want to wear an avatar, but not be able to see it yourself?
If so, that sounds like something that would primarily be used to annoy other people…
This page from vrchat mentions holding Ctrl and \ while loading into a world to reset the avatar.

This post seems heavily suspicious, and I only foresee one use for blocking your own avatar which is malicious. I am not aware of a way to do this that isn’t inside avatar creation.
