Is age verification intended to be supported in China?
I have quite a few friends who play the game in China, but they all report that they can’t complete the age verification due to the region not being supported.
So I’d like to know about this.

The support list on the Persona official website does not include China. Should I understand this game abandoning chinese players?

So, persona ask you to scan your face in the last step, based on your ID photo?.. so, what would happend if someone uses an old ID, with obviously and old photo, and then, it fails trying to scan your face because of that at the last step, and Persona doesn’t let you go back and choose another Photo, like, a passport. what would be the fix in that case
A large majority of my friends are playing from China, and based on feedback from Chinese closed beta participants, they were unable to proceed with age verification due to China IDs not being recognized/supported by Persona. This will knock out a large part of the player base.
Will they be exempted or will there be a different option for these edge cases? No matter how good Persona is, they are useless if they don’t even recognize your ID just because you were born in a specific country.

I am still stuck on how we will verify our age. How do we start and will you guys be putting a tutorial on how? Will we be verifying through our vrchat account on the website or through the actual persona app/website and how will that work if we use persona?

my most resent id expired 2021 would it be accepted for Age Verification?
Is there something in place to Verify Multiple accounts for the same person, indie group or company that’s needed for Production or Content creators?
I am already an adult and fully support this update on the protection of minor content. However, as a Chinese citizen, I am unable to conduct identity verification in mainland China, which prevents me from fully and normally experiencing the game. Please provide solutions to the identity verification issues that adult users in other countries will soon face. Moreover, identity verification information may be obtained by criminals, posing a certain risk of identity ID leakage, which could potentially be used for illegal acts threatening personal safety. If there is a risk of leaking real identities in the virtual world, it could run counter to the game’s original intention of creating a virtual social chat. Please pay close attention to the series of consequences caused by identity verification. Otherwise, this will be a major reason for the future loss of a large number of players in this game.

I successfully completed the age verification process by submitting my ID, but when attempting the face verification step, which required me to move my face from left to right, I encountered persistent errors. Despite trying various approaches to resolve the issue, the system continued to fail at recognizing my movements, ultimately leading to the process being canceled. As a result, I had no choice but to contact support, where I submitted a ticket requesting the reset of the verification link to continue the process.
So I missed the verifications, how would I go about verifying my age? and if it’s through a group, how do I know which ones I can verify through and if there’s any openings?
When will it be available for individuals ? I like this idea added to our user verification, maybe if it was added after being at least a certain lvl of user would be more interesting ? To not let kids create accs with only an adult verification.

Bro, same. I got the vanity age thing for my vrchat, but so far nothing.
Sooo i can’t get my verification for my vrchat account because I don’t have a business, so idk how Im gonna get my account verification

Age Verification is not currently available to everyone.
Right now, it is only available to a small select set of Groups that we’re working with to test the feature.
Right now, you cannot submit for age verification. We’ll let you know and post in this thread when we open the system wider.

What do I do when a link for a groups age verification says “An error occurred when trying to send age verification email” ?
Does this have plans in finally reinforcing the Eligibility section of the TOS? For example, a minor getting reported for being under the age of 13 and being asked to verify their age after said report?
